These Terms and Conditions constitute a binding agreement between Guests and Amity Villa, a private accommodation property located on Praslin Island, Seychelles. By making a reservation, Guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms outlined herein. These terms apply to all bookings, stays, and services provided by Amity Villa.

1. Reservations and Payment

1.1 All reservations at Amity Villa must be secured with a valid credit card via payment link or  a bank transfer, as specified at the time of booking.

1.2 A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. The remaining balance is due 7 days before arrival, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.3 Reservations are only considered confirmed once the deposit has been received and a written confirmation has been issued by Amity Villa.

1.4 In the event of non-payment within the required timeframe, Amity Villa reserves the right to cancel the reservation without notice.

1.5 A mandatory Tourism Environmental Sustainability Levy of SCR 25 per person, per night is excluded from the accommodation rates and will be collected separately upon arrival, in accordance with local regulations. Children under 12 years of age are exempt from this levy.

2. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

2.1 Guests may cancel their reservation by submitting written notice via email to Amity Villa.

2.2 Cancellations received 21 days or more prior to the scheduled check-in date will qualify for a full refund of the deposit.

2.3 Cancellations made less than 21 days prior to arrival shall result in forfeiture of the deposit.

2.4 In the event of a no-show or failure to arrive on the confirmed date, the full amount is non-refundable, and no reimbursement will be issued.

2.5 No refunds shall be issued for early departures or unused portions of a reservation.

2.6 Exceptions to this policy may be considered in extraordinary circumstances at the sole discretion of Amity Villa management.

3. Check-In and Check-Out Procedures

3.1 Standard check-in time is 12:00 PM local time. Guests may be denied access to the villa prior to this time unless early check-in arrangements have been confirmed in writing.

3.2 Check-out must be completed no later than 10:00 AM on the scheduled departure date.

3.3 Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges as determined by Amity Villa.

3.4 Guests must present valid government-issued identification upon check-in, along with booking confirmation or proof of payment.

3.5 Failure to vacate the premises by the designated check-out time may result in additional charges equivalent to a full-day rate.

4. Guest Responsibilities and House Rules

4.1 Guests are required to behave in a respectful and orderly manner at all times, and must not disturb the peace, comfort, or safety of other guests or staff.

4.2 The number of guests occupying each villa must not exceed the stated maximum occupancy. Unauthorized additional guests may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.

4.3 Smoking is prohibited indoors. Guests may only smoke in designated outdoor areas. A cleaning fee may apply for non-compliance.

4.4 Pets are strictly not permitted on the premises.

4.5 Guests are prohibited from feeding any animals on or near the property.

4.6 Guests are responsible for the cost of any damage caused to the villa or common areas, whether by themselves, their children, or accompanying guests.

4.7 Quiet hours are observed between 22:00 and 07:00 hours. Excessive noise or disruptive behavior may result in eviction without refund.

4.8 Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the supervision and safety of minors during the entire stay.

5. Liability and Indemnity

5.1 Amity Villa, including its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates, shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience suffered by guests, including but not limited to damage to personal property, unless caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Amity Villa.

5.2 Guests assume full responsibility for their personal belongings and valuables throughout their stay.

5.3 Amity Villa shall not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, governmental actions, strikes, or other force majeure events.

5.4 Guests agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Amity Villa and its representatives from any claims, demands, or expenses arising out of their use of the premises or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

6. Force Majeure

6.1 Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms and Conditions resulting from causes beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, war, governmental restrictions, strikes, or civil unrest.

6.2 In the event of a force majeure occurrence, Amity Villa reserves the right to cancel or postpone reservations without liability.

6.3 Guests will be entitled to either rescheduling of their booking or a refund of amounts paid, at the sole discretion of Amity Villa.

7. Governing Law

7.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Seychelles.

7.2 The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Seychelles in respect of any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms.
